There is something beautiful about being inspired and being able to bring those inspirations to other people. As artists we have the distinct ability to be able to let people into our minds and hearts with images, sculptures, paintings and many more forms of art.

My work is done with acrylic paint, graphite drawings and some photography. Each piece created has its own meaning to me but, it excites me to think others might find even more or different meaning. In my work I play with the symbolism found in objects, animals and stories. I bring pieces of these symbols together to tell stories of faith, life and culture. I am inspired by my Christian faith, different artistic periods, particularly the Renaissance and stories I have heard growing up from my Native American grandmother. These stories were filled with superstitions, wonder and, most often, scary consequences. My work is very personal thus it speaks a great deal about my life thus far.

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom. -- Ecclesiastes 9:10"
